Mr. Berlusconi welcomed by eggs
Mr. Berlusconi entered Democratic Party offices. Some left-wing activist among the crowd welcomed his arrival by throwing eggs and shouting against him.
The Pact of the Nazarene is the political agreement reached on January 18, 2014 between current Prime Minister Matteo Renzi and disgraced former prime minister and Forza Italia centre-right leader Silvio Berlusconi.
The pact is named after the location of the Democratic Party headquarters in Rome, in Largo del Nazareno.
It was the first time that Berlusconi entered the offices of the Democratic Party.
