Where are we going
I am a little and simple man who is walking in the ways of the life.
Sometimes I stop and I want to cry while asking myself:
Is another world possible?
Is a better world possible?
Is this the world I'd like my son to live in?
I think it is about people, how vision brightens their horizons and how development enlarges their choices.
But I won't let them foul me!
Global free market system as a starting point for reducing the world poverty
Providing the poor with opportunities to improve their own lives.
Instead I noticed widespread poverty, inequality, and suffering especially among the world's poorest people.
These "opportunities" have benefited international private sector, multinational corporations, and corrupt officials and politicians.
Over the next 50 years, we will likely see world population grow from 6 billion to 9 billion, with almost 95 percent of that increase going to the developing world.
Food needs will double, annual output of carbon dioxide will triple, and for the first time more people will live in cities than in rural areas, placing an enormous strain on the social fabric, on infrastructure, and on the environment.
Yeah, they how to make a better world (surely for corporate-driven economy),
in the end the question is:
is a better world for ALL possible?
